Mentorship Program
What is this program?
This program is a space for Organizational Members of SOAR to receive mentorship support & resources (see more on what types below!). If you’re not a member and would like to access this program, apply to become a SOAR member here!
What types of mentorship do SOAR mentors offer?
SOAR Organizational Members can request 1:1 support with:
Direct Service Support (for SOAR members): Connect with an experienced advocate at another culturally-specific GBV SOAR member organization to get support with case management, programming, org policies & growth, and more!
Immigration Law Services (for SOAR members’ clients): Connect with a legal professional at SAAJCO to get support for your clients. More information coming late 2025— in the meantime, anyone can contact SAAJCO’s Resource Hotline for free, confidential, & culturally-specific legal consultations for immigration, domestic violence, and more.
How do I request mentorship support?
For SOAR members ONLY (no clients or non member organizations): Fill out our short mentorship request form HERE.
What happens after I request mentorship support?
You’ll hear back within 48 business hours to set up a consultation!
Who are the SOAR mentors?
We’re so grateful to direct service & legal advocates from Asian Family Support Services of Austin (AFSSA), Daya Houston, Raksha, & the South Asian American Justice Collaborative (SAAJCO) for making the Mentorship Program a possibility!
